About Sierra Fishing HQ

Fishing in the Eastern Sierra

Who I Am

Hi, I'm Tristan, an avid angler who has spent years fishing the lakes, rivers, creeks, reservoirs, and backcountry waters of California's Eastern Sierra.

I created Sierra Fishing HQ to bring the information I personally use before every fishing trip into one easy-to-use location.

Why I Built This Site

Planning a successful fishing trip often requires checking several different sources for weather forecasts, fishing conditions, moon phases, sunrise and sunset times, fish stocking information, and local fishing knowledge.

Sierra Fishing HQ was created to simplify that process and provide a centralized resource for Eastern Sierra anglers.

What You'll Find Here

Sierra Fishing HQ provides:

The goal is to help anglers spend less time searching for information and more time fishing.

Eastern Sierra Waters Covered

Sierra Fishing HQ currently covers many of the most popular fishing destinations throughout California's Eastern Sierra.

Additional fishing locations, trout species information, and local fishing knowledge will continue to be added over time.

Mission Statement

Whether you're targeting Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Lahontan Cutthroat Trout, California Golden Trout, or simply exploring a new lake for the first time, Sierra Fishing HQ exists to provide useful information for anglers throughout the Eastern Sierra.

By combining fishing conditions, weather forecasts, moon phases, stocking resources, trout identification guides, and local fishing knowledge, Sierra Fishing HQ aims to be a trusted resource for Eastern Sierra fishing and trout fishing in California.

Tight lines and good luck on the water.
